Don't be too hasty on the 'NO' disspointments AFS.
There is one white elephant still sitting in the room that could have been offloaded.
"Ridley's" still hasn't been divested.... and yes we can blame the government with the Mining tax, which I have no doubt de-railed the deals that were being finalised.... but AGO had been spruiking bids being assessed back in Oct/Nov last year. 6 months before the tax was annouced.... I just wonder if management was a bit nieve on that front, as the 'Henry tax' review was known about.
So as much as I am a big advocate of what management has achieved (plenty!), but 'NO' dissapointments is a little too glossy for me.
I think a Ridley deal should have been done before the mining tax became an issue.
