They had first mover advantage + cash, had all the opportunity on their plate, there was no point building the facility here, had heaps of data of how the facilties made 2 years prior were doing in a better regulatory enviornment in Canada, and that is not great, yet they still went ahead, they really messed up.

Amazing to think around $300 million has been spent by CAN, their market cap now is not even $16 million and are trading at all time lows, some people got very rich from it all, but not shareholders, mainly management, directors and the contractors they used.
