possibly ------ with a LOT of very expensive maintenance and a huge cost to decommission

one point not to be missed is -

in say 50 years time -------------- do you still think that Nuclear fission will be in use at all?

or do you think that fusion would perhaps be up and running by then - or something else

50 years at the rate of improvement even atm, let alone what is coming

I would seriously doubt if anyone would then want a nuclear fission plant hanging around the place
