I think what we can rest assured of, is that there are multiple solutions available, Sonagol and Melbana are motivated for results, and there is nothing to suggest all is lost.
funny thought... when the drill bit got stuck, we heard nothing and shareholders whinged. MAY then does a more transparent approach instead by telling the market of problems rather than keep quiet until an outcome is reached, and again shareholders whinge.
