Bond rates going to 5%. well 2Y yield is 4.7% and 10Y is 4.2%. Inflation coming down, (UK 2% target reached, elsewhere will follow) the Fed just needs to cut rates early (this year) and that will cap the 2Y.
IMO the fed need to cut now or else what you say will happen.
