Listen to the CSIRO. The fact is renewables are advancing rapidly and we are in the right track. The nuclear option is extremely expensive and takes years to build. If there was no other choice nuclear would be something to consider but this is really just a Red Herring offered by the opposition to prop up the existing fossil fuel component of energy generation.
