This from Sabine is interesting. She's not convinced that the applications for quantum computing are necessarily that extensive and thinks that conventional super computers could do most required calculations just as well except for a few niche applications where QC is needed. She then goes into a discussion about Universal Quantum Computing (or gate model computing) v Quantum Annealer (or quantum simulation) and a recent paper by Q CTRL (Sydney software Co), which suggests that conventional computing can do it better than QC. But it does look like she's missing the point re the comparative sizes of the computers. Still, interesting talk.
