Prices aren't determined by the cost of production, they are determined by suppy & demand.
More then likely include in their costing when forced to purchase Megawatts due to not meeting their generation agreements. I’ve seen bids to supply a certain Megawatts around $100 suddenly skyrocket to $10,000.
Those companies then need to purchase from other suppliers at $10,000 to meet their obligations. Such failures should not form a component as a costing argument for consumers to pick up!
