The only evil in Ukraine right now is Putin. The US is helping Ukraine defend themselves against this Russian evil. Your constant whatboutism about what the US has done elsewhere is completely irrelevant to Putin and the evil he is unleashing in Ukraine, it doesn't justify it, it doesn't excuse it. Be better.

The US did not make Putin invade Ukraine. The US did not make Putin shoot down MH17 murdering dozens of Australians. The US did not make Putin abduct and abuse Ukrainian children., The US did not make Putin kill innocent Ukrainian civilians. That same Putin evil you are trying to justify and excuse by blaming the victim and by whatboutism of what the US has done elsewhere, else when and where Ukraine was never involved.

So right now US foreign policy isn't the problem. The problem is Putin, his war, and the people who support Putin's war. They are the danger.

You have no desire for Putin to leave Ukraine, you want Putin to retain the territory he currently occupies, that means imposing a fascist Russian dictatorship over those areas. That is what you are hoping to achieve with your condoning of Putin's atrocities in Ukraine as he murders Ukrainians for their land. You choose not to live in Russia under a fascist Putin dictatorship yet your support for Putin will see others live under it and you provide this support from the safety of the democratic West. You do this while portending you care about Ukrainians. Your faux outrage at a situation you wish to see continue just scream hypocrisy.
