Goldman Sachs produced this chart for its analysis of DLE in April 2023. There may be recent updates. As the report points out, wider availability of lithium at cheaper production costs could continue to hold down the market price. But with some China sites in production and others in pilot or demonstration stage, the question is not so much whether DLE works but when it will predominate.
