It's not more so what this waste of a salary can do its more so the optics surrounding bringing in ex Crown staff that cleared the way for remediation for Crown during their shitstorm.
The clear issue the NICC had was the capability of leadership team to form remediation satisfactory to obtain unconditional license (which they stated Crown did very well)
No surprise Jeanne Mok stepped in as COO and i wouldn't be surprised if Steve also gets the role due to his previous Crown leadership
