    so in which case both sides are cruel. However humans are also capable of extraordinary compassion, kindness and decency. For someone who claims he is into philosophy he should know that the debate of good over evil, man’s fundamental character and conditions vs nature have preoccupied philosophers for ever as well as psychologists and neuroscientists

    they have never concluded anything that is final. I’d suggest to some extent we may be seeing two things - jungs shadow theory - we dislike in others that which we dislike in ourselves- or straight out projection - we cannot face ourselves so we make it the others. (Sort of connected really)

    in my view conditions are at the heart of this but now exacerbated by both sides believing they have right on their side. I could go into it more but no point here
