PTW, good point
I checked lithium and AKE charts.
First plus $15 SP was hit late 22 with 600,000cny/t , then fell to about $10 when 175000 cny /t around April 23.
Lithium then rebounded to about 330,000cny/t July 23 with AKE SP following it up to got to plus $15. ,
AKE and now LTM SP have followed the falling lithium price down to sub 100,000cny/t.
Not sure what to make of that.I think a chartist view would be helpful to explain the correlation between lithium price and AKE SP. Very volatile.
Re Gcar and Dale Henderson view and importance.
I recall following iron ore at the bottom of the cycle on Macrobusiness , MB critized Gina Rinehart going hard with Roy Hill and Fortesque going hard max production at the time.Fortescue reduced debt significantly at the time , which was a threat and history shows right decision.
Good CEOs like Gina and Twiggy earn their salary with right critical decisions , even though counter to expert analysts
