I took a trip down memory lane this afternoon and re-read this paper that started the journey for monepantel.
2014 / Uni of NSW/St George Hospital.
While it was analysing monepantel in ovarian cancer cell lines, it revealed the role MPL plays in suppression of the mTOR/p70S6K signalling pathway, and provided the first evidence to show that MPL triggers autophagy.
