It's definitely not "a very managed decent". Big dumps occurred today, fact. They weren't intentional to shake anyone out. They were big holders getting out while their shares were worth something. This is the reality.
Did you know that when you don't take on the risk you don't generate much revenue? Airplus is a case in point. No first loss capital required and therefore I highly suspect little revenue will be generated. However, not once has it been outlined how revenue will be generated for SPX from utilisation of Airplus facilities. Further, the Airplus announcement wasn't classified as market sensitive. You want to know why that is?
