You're right about the jumping. What indicator is that changing green/red near the candles? Looks like by the time the colour changes BHP has already jumped and made most of the move in the other direction.
So judging by that indicator, we should get a nice jump up over $43.50 and it will change green a bit later
4 more days of EOFY so could get more selling to offset good gains that most other stocks have had this year.
