Apologies I meant to write "hundreds of millions" but thats based on potential heavy haul truck fleets and equipment from heavy miners transitioning. Its costing FMG alone around USD$1.3 billion but thats everything, trucks, excavators, drillers etc. Fmg are aiming to have all heavy haul transition completed a few years before 2030. They've partnered with pne of the best. They'd be both active marketing these solutions as we speak. Fortescue is expecting net operating cost savings of US$818 million per annum with cumulative operating cost savings around US$3 billion. Payback of capital expected by 2034. I instead am keeping close attention on the spend that's taking place in the renewables energy space. China spent close to US$1 Trillion last year alone. Investors are overlooking this real world statistic, but not me. Watch this space. A $10 buck drop is a gift for those who dont fear and have done their homework.
