The real target market is not patients, hospitals, or ambulances. The target market is the behemoth global radiology imaging equipment companies. All those technologies you mention are made, marketed and distributed by major imaging companies. Once EMV gets FDA approval, it gets to be a valuable asset for them. If EMV went on its own, major competitors would create their own versions and get expedited FDA approval on prior use established by EMV. Siemens and GE probably have engineers tinkering on it right now. The people involved with EMV who helped create MRI didn't ultimately own MRI making companies. FDA approval will signal a very big value creation event because it brings them to that real target market immediately. IMHO.
