So, what do we know?
On Monday 17th June, someone closed out 10 mill FMG shorts- and they did it at $21.60. Why? Well, clearly they wanted out, and didn't expect a better (weaker) price. Maybe the idea was to close out in FY24. Maybe their broker offered them a deal with another bank, who wanted, for their own reasons, to sell a large chunk? Good they are gone. Next we will see what happened after Monday.
