    Like the old joke.
    I've had the same broom for 40 years, it's had 15 handles & 22 heads.
    LOL

    Look at the list of retired UK reactors, lasted between 27 & 46 years.
    New reactors have a life expectancy of between 40-60 years, extending them to 100 years is never going to happen.

    Most likely Dutton plan scenario.
    7 reactors never get built due to any number of the legal, environmental, financial reasons etc etc
    Of the reactors that get built a number are closed early as they make massive losses & prove unreliable due to lack of or low use.
    The remaining reactor/s are used for 25-30 years until finally being closed after never making a profit.
