Unless there's a dramatic boost in performance, oOh!media will probably just take the cash plus the 5.8% interest. Honestly, this whole deal doesn’t really seem to benefit Airtasker much. Plunking that $5 million directly into some innovative tech-driven advertising strategies might be a smarter and more flexible move. If it doesn’t pan out, they can just pull the plug, giving them way more room to manoeuvre.
And frankly, Airtasker’s marketing team does seem a bit on the lazy side.
