The way the market should be looking at this, it was on the high seas, a life boat trying to keep a sinking ship afloat, has just severed the rope to the sinking ship. That life boat (copper), can now row on to an island of anything (Uranium, gold etc).
Its like that scene in Gladiator, when the big guy was chained arm to arm to the bloke who wet himself. The wetter was killed in the arena, and in order to fight, the big buy had to cut the wetters arm off so he could move and fight.
This move provides us with the agility to move in the arena of market appetite.
