is there any power in a country that can legally force insurance companies, landlords and grocers from putting up their prices?
private schools and energy retailers, medical companies and everyone has the right to make a profit so their businesses don't go bust.
lets not forget the causes of the price rises. much of this isn't under the jurisdiction of govt.
