I don't think its just the US China doesn't want to sell to.From my discussion with the CEO of another large ASX Graphite CEO, he understands from their intel that very shortly China will not have enough Graphite for their own requirements/demand so the supply shortage is a real thing and its really coming to the Graphite market imminently
Hopefully this is the start of the Graphite recovery, which may be the reason shorts have reduced here.
