The first phase of RC drilling to test the Cohen Prospect has been very encouraging and highlights the potential for the district to host a significant magnetite deposit. Davis Tube Recovery analysis on selected composite samples has produced mass recoveries from a coarse grind >32% and excellent DTRC grades > 65% Fe.
The DTR test-work has shown that the magnetite mineralisation is amenable to magnetic beneficiation at a coarse grind size and that with some minor refinements to the grind size a high quality magnetite concentrate can be produced.
Notice this announcement said "the first phase of drilling". Second phase finds to come and a whole lot more.
