Very interesting. Another stock I hold that are involved in GAN lasers have a round table discussion on their website that talks about using light and stacking chips with different substrates for power reduction and different applications... I'd love for a few dots to join there... GAN seems like an interesting tech that might be important to the quantum chip application...
