I don't think consolidation of the SP will happen here. It actually makes no difference. My personal viewpoint is that if results are positive and exceed expectations from the bioMuse Study, which I believe they are, I am hoping we will have interest from BP. Dr Stamler is a very smart operator. If I were a betting man, i reckon he has already had conversations with various Pharma Companies, and their are certain benchmarks already in place. SIgning an MOU with a Pharma Company based on the results due next January wouldn't be out of the relms of possibility at this stage either. Alterity is in a very unique position at the moment, which makes this opportunity exciting. Some of those unique points are as follows-
Orphan Status approved in US and European Territories
7 to 10 years exclusivity on sales there
Over 20 years' worth of research & development is culminating into final results. No company worldwide is as advanced as we are in the MSA arena
ATH 434 may also be prescribed off-label for other parkinsonian diseases.
Over $1.1B USD in sales per annum if ATH 434 is given relevant approvals to go to market.
At this present time, Pharma Companies, large and small, are on the lookout for any successful treatments that allow them to monopolize global markets for a long period of time. A drug like ATH434 that comes in tablet form is a perfect fit for that. No other drugs exist on the market today. it's easy to produce and administer. I personally wouldn't be surprised if we see an announcement before the end of August stating we have either sold or licensed ATH434. Definitely exciting times! Pls remember this is only my opinion, I can be wrong (pls dont tell my wife that). Mid july can't come quick enough! I hope u all have a wonderful weekend.
