40 years on they remember Napoli's Golden Boy...

Napoli's former owner Corrado Ferlaino on Thursday recalled the "beautiful days" of the arrival in the soccer-mad southern port city of Argentine great Diego Maradona on July 5, 1984, 40 years ago. Boarding an MSC cruise liner to take part in the event "Maradona at Napoli 40 years later, July 5, 1984, the day that changed the world', the 93-year-old ex Azzurri president said "Maradona remains for me and for the Neapolitans a very beautiful memory from 40 years ago. "We lived him (sic) in Naples and Diego remains one of the most beautiful memories of my life". Ferlaino managed to get El Pibe de Oro from Barcelona to start to build a great Napoli that would go on to win two Serie A titles, a UEFA Cup, the Italian Cup and the Italian Supercup from 1984 to 1991.
