Since JRV is off the radar in terms of value (insignificant) - psychological compensation comes from owning as many of the shares as possible.
Also, if he didn't 'buy' them, then the shares would be at $0.001 and the company collapse.
What a tragedy! A company that could be currently operating a large $4 billion operation at Young, working one of the largest Chinese companies (CRR) is now scrabbling in the dirt with a little known Canadian company.
