It took about a year to build that 20% of short positions. When the worm suddenly turns, and it will, they will have about two to three weeks to cover their asses. That, IMO, will be an impossible task, which has the potential to create one of the biggest short squeezes in ASX history; in turn, driving the PLS share price to irrational highs.
On the flipside, if we see any substantial decrease in short positions, then I'd call that a trigger to buy. That, and buying at the absolute bottom - if one has been astute or lucky enough to identify at a bargain, basement low.
