I can't see the farmers getting much sympathy in the long run if people in the city can't run there AC.
Farmers are currently getting 40K per year per turbine on there land. once that becomes general knowledge do you think city folk will be on the farmers side??

and just normal aging replacement - apparently a hell of a lot of transmission lines in Oz are old and need replacement anyway
