1. Grades - TREO
2. Composition of TREO (MREO/HREO vs the low value lanthanum and cerium)
3. Efficiency of Recovery
- ease of recovery
- minimal wastage in recover
4. Region
the above 4 factors are critical in the viability of the project.
It is a simple formula -
a) increase the basket value
b) decrease the cost of extraction
Let’s assume the current REO prices are the norm going forward - how many companies are sustainable? Further, which project has the lowest extraction cost at the moment which is profitable?
Main Query : when you factor in all the above, is Vmm on the path to being a viable project at the current REO prices?
I believe both VMM and MEI are on the pathway to positively verify the main query. Of course this depends on the ultimate progression of both the resource and the production of the carbonate. In VMM, we have the potential to value add further with the JV to IXR tech.
plenty of catalysts leading up to the scoping study if Vmm -
- drilling results
- metallurgical updates
- scoping study - initially the MEI snd then Vmm
