    Example, some time back, the interest rates were pretty much where they are now and should be.
    And Lo - Behold, because many people on the whole created Their problems, down come the interest rates.
    So those relying on interest rates for income, suddenly had their income Stolen from them, for None of their own doings or carless actions.
    Hence some where forced into alternative investing, investment properties being one.

    I was just pointing out, the disaster that's around the corner, especially considering the trouble we already have, for renters.
    It would appear, that the Gov had sh.. for brains when setting up the NRAS, with no plausible exit plan, especially considering renters have and would become reliant on it, despite knowing it had an end.

    However - did they in fact have a deceptive exit plan, which I once read on a Gov site, of which, I expect has now vanished ?
    That was, NRAS finishes, Landlords would have to up the rent 20%, tenants not able to afford, forcing Landlords to sell.
    This would create big numbers of sales, forcing down prices, supposedly enabling these low income people to purchase.
    But lets get REAL, even if values dropped 20 - 30%, most if not all of these low income people, would still no be able to afford them.

    Concern for tenants -> despite my wife and I being well off, you naturally don't like to see others struggle, growing up, I was 1 of 8 kids, I've been there.
    But I can assure you, what we have wasn't achieved by sitting on our ass's lol.

    I must however also fess up, we own two NRAS properties, so if by chance it got extended in some form, it would be a win, win for us and tenants.
    Subject to, what real income they will produce, as they are not yet tenanted, titles any day now.
    So we need at least 12mths to assess the matter.
