    hmmm

Australia - off we go on a state by state and territory difference -

    another mess in the making

another setup which puts Australians through great pain and suffering - so if someone is in one state and VAD is not legal - they have to use their remaining energy in life in pain to travel, to uproot and head to another state to get what they choose to do over their own existence

if people haven't worked out yet that Australia is disabled by it's system of government - I don't think they'll ever work it out.

IMO, it's such an obvious thing that people should have control over their own lives and their own decisions to end it when they wish.

As to relatives trying to bump them off for reasons of self advantage or gain - just make it mandatory life imprisonment if found guilty of such abuse
