Yeah good points and I always had difficulties with similar things in the early days. Why, when a good announcement would land would a stock fall over? ( not just IMU).
That situation not only cost me plenty of money but it perplexed me to a point that I wanted to learn more. I soon worked out that it was far more important to work out how the market works compared to how a stock worked.
That schooling has been so beneficial as it helps you understand the PA (price action) as well as removing all emotion from the movements. Happy to admit that it’s still a work in process.
Always a big couple of weeks ahead as positions for the new FY are placed moving stocks in every direction but generally an exciting time.
