I screwed up the first line dammit. It was supposed to say:
"Gross production from the KAR assets is currently averaging over 40,000 bopd."
My point is, KAR is a Company looking at producing 30,000bopd for 15 years (pending Neon FID).
That's almost 11mbopa. At $85, that works out about A$1.4b in revenue each year and net profit of over ~A$600b and FCF upwards of ~A$750m.
We're now a multi asset Company with exploration upside and justify a much higher P/E than 2. Even a P/E of 8 will give a MC of ~A$5b.
Every successful investment I've ever had required patience ... and good management. The Jury may be still out on the latter.
