Size is good. Even better is the fact expensive diamond drilling happened in 1967... Niobium , Rare Earths were just ideas back in 1967 so most likely would not had created any interest.
4 Holes drilled in 67 for an average 141M for 564M . Logic would say the driller will reenter , re drill DD004 with reported grades up to 7.1Nb .
Four diamond holes(DD001-DD004, Figure 2 & 3) were drilled at Carb Lake in 1967 for a total of 564m.
The Carb Lake project comprises a large, +3kmdiameter carbonatite complex prospective forNiobium and Rare Earth Elements, located innorth-western Ontario
Cazaly’s Managing Director Tara Frenchcommented:
“We are extremely pleased to receive the approved drilling permit and areexcited at the prospect of undertaking our first drilling campaign across this hugecarbonatite complex. The anomalous historical results reported previously by theCompany confirm the Carb Lake complex is mineralised and new drilling will enhanceour understanding of the grade distribution and metallurgy of niobium and REEmineralisation.”
