Let's talk bare bones. You, as well as the entire world knew EXACTLY what Hamas has been doing, how they operate and what their goals are. You and the world knew EXACTLY where billions of your tax dollars and world support was going and what for. The UN and its organizations, the Red Cross, international journalists, EVERYONE knew and knows of the cynical use Hamas makes of its population and the danger they place them in.
WE, the world, collectively let this bloody mess happen by thinking in our Western view of the world that Hamas and fundamental Islam could be spoken to and negotiated with, even though their charters and actions tell us in black and white that we are wrong.
Times up. We are now cleaning up the mess we collectively allowed, and it's messy and horrible and deadly.
So my suggestion to all you who blindly blame Israel and only now make so much irrelevant noise, is to either shut up or take charge and be part of the solution. Where were you all while Hamas throwing their brothers off roofs, firing rockets at civilians from hospital window bays, abusing their children teaching them how to stab innocents etc. etc. etc.!
