I was of this opinion as well, however, based on todays announcement, a no vote appears to have us as a silent 26% partner of a world class lithium project. I was expecting more of negative write up in this announcement towards direct risks of the governments views towards LLL moving forward. I expected this announcement to heavily highlight risks that would have me believe staying would be impossible.
If the government is happy with their 35% and has nothing further to say after settlement, I have serious questions if sale is the best movement forward.
26% silent partner… I don’t hate it.
additionally we would have control of 26% of stage 2 offtake + 26% outcome control of the govs 35% of offtake… it’s quite a bit of tonnage at our control.
