It would be good to know the average Battery size, as the PEHV usually have a 14-20kWh battery instead of the 60-90kWh of the EVs.
Then we need 4xPEHV to create the same demand than EVs.
I'm sure thus pushed the kwh per vehicle lower, so just looking at the vehicles per year is not providing enough information to assess/understand lithium demand.
Probably BYD battery demand will be close to 200,000 EVs equivalent or 12,000 MWh of battery capacity. Less than Tesla EVs quarterly production.
