Define ‘natural lifespan’.
As I’ve said, if medical treatment is withdrawn to ‘let nature take its course’, and they pass on, I would consider that, given the circumstances, a desirable outcome.
If medical treatment is withdrawn and they don’t die, I would say they haven’t reached the end point of their natural lifespan. That is where palliative care comes in.
