i think you will find that the reason why costs are high is because of the cost of trying to increase the mine life and thus get production back to the 20,000-25,000 ounces per qtr as they seemed to be on track for only a year or two ago. They were making reasonable money when the gold price was sitting at $1100 per ounce.
I do think if they can increase the mine life to 10 yrs, they may well ramp up to 100,000oz pa and costs may be back to the $600-$700 per ounce.
