Hello. Its great when clueless people clean up on a stock like AVZ due to insanity such as Covid causing insane lithium prices. This appears not related to skill & knowledge but to sheer luck. Keep in mind those AVZ shareholders who are now stuck holding the back.
So if we take our mind back to when world economics was normal (prior to Covid), my recollection is AVZ attempted to convince the market they would barge the lithium along rivers into Tanzania or somewhere. The AVZ deposit is bang in Central Africa thus training it by rail to South Africa (where most of the Congo copper & cobalt is shipped out) was very expensive. I remember people saying only building a Lithium Refinery would allow cheap transport of a higher value product (similar to copper & cobalt). The market often gets carried away. I recall that German guy Klaus who vended the AVZ deposit selling out at around 18 cents. LIN has a monster deposit but it looks lowish grade very light.
