I think Gharp 12m was new gross (non aggregated) shorts reported for the 1st of July trading day.
Will be v interesting to see what the new aggregated short figure (currently 232m shares or 8.12% of stock on 26/6) will be when shortman reports for the 1/7, which will perhaps be Friday.
