there are some viruses that are known to potentially cause cancer but BIT225 is an anti-viral and I can't see how it could be useful i cancer drugs.
The comment itself would not give any confidence that the HIV/COVID trials were hugely successful - a phase 3 trial would be needed to prove that comment true or false.
Maybe MM was just trying to sound optimistic given that the market and BP were not too impressed by the results. Language used was extremely flat.
