There is no easy solution to insider information - ASIC is toothless, they do not have the resources nor the desire and motivation to do anything - typical public service mentality. Avoiding making mistakes is the motto - mistakes is what you are measured on .... so why take risks?
The financial industry needs a decent kick up the clacka. I note with amusement that regulation and compliance is "in" with financial planning. LOL, what a joke!
