Nuclear has to run 24/7.
It's impossible for Nuclear to be cheaper than coal & coal can't compete with renewables for 2/3 of an average day.
So either Nuclear will never make a profit or electricity for the remaining 1/3 of an average day will be incredibly expensive just to break even.
