Sadly Scotty, The LNP had no idea about policy development, which is why they are chasing their tales now, and why they come up with thought bubbles. .They could have achieved so much in the 9 years they were in power, but they got bogged down in coalition infighting on the things that matter and proved to be totally incompetent - there was no planning and no vision . The time wasted on issues such as Religious Freedom was a joke.
You have to be in government to make change, and Independents have only very limited capacity in my opinion. As mentioned before, if and when the Teals get their act together, they could become a force to be reckoned with as a minor party - rather like the Liberals ? .
