I'm in the same boat, spent years honing those Charts just for all of it to be wiped out and now the new version keeps crashing, doesn't allow the same sort of edits; I've mentioned to Commsec that mine doesn't let me change colours for basic things like MA, EMA and MACD but it will let me change a horizontal line colour but then won't let me input the exact number figure.
Any suggestions for alternatives that also include CBOE data in the charts and Live Data.
I'm looking at TradingView but not sure on them, the free version seems to actually function and looks exactly like the IRESS Viewpoint but it's missing CBOE data; half the volume is not shown on most stocks and even traded price points so you end up with different candles and a useless Chart that has half the information. It says CBOE data can be purchased but not sure if that means it will be added into the one chart onces you pay for it. Anyone else using TradingView Premium or higher?
Bloomberg Terminal is a step too high and not sure I'd want to pay IRESS directly if they can't even get their tech right with brokers.
