Doesn't change the fact that SHs are treated with more respect in a rights issue where they can, amongst other things, not be diluted. SHs are also offered no transparency on the GPR commitments.
Don't get excited about this CR. RIM has a history of securing enough funds to cover overheads. By the time the Board and others are paid out little is left over for exploration.
The Supreme Court of Victoria will soon, as I understand, hand down it's judgment in the GPR case. This has the potential to have a destructive effect on RIM.
I hope that doesn't happen. But it is foolhardy to ignore.
